My
dog has always been a good little eater, but the first night I put some on her
little plate and she inhaled it like she had not been fed for days. At
first, she sniffed and sniffed and went and lay down on the other end of the
couch away from it, BUT after I hand-fed her about 3-4 pieces and she ate them,
she was up and back over at her plate and the next thing I knew she was licking
it and it was all gone. I'm so excited about this knowing it's all natural
and will offer her such good nutrition. She will be 10 July 1st so I am trying
to make sure she has the best care I can possibly give my little baby as she
ages and hopefully she will have many many more years that we can enjoy each
other. It gives me such pleasure to see that little stinker enjoying something
so much. You are a God-send, let me tell you. I have put your address on my
computer and look forward to continuing to do business with you. Thanks so
much - keep up the good work!

Hi Faye,
I'm sorry I missed your call last
week, but my grandma had passed away, so Pickles and I went to
Milwaukee
to try to bring some smiles. It
actually worked. I know you talked
to my husband, and he thinks he might have talked too much, so hopefully you
didn't have something to do. I'm
sure he told you, but Pickles is doing wonderfully.
We just love him. He went to
the doctor last week and he's weighing in at a hefty 3 pounds, 2 ounces.
He's kind of getting the hang of going to the bathroom outside, and he is
just full of energy. He loves to run
around and play and bite things. So
we're trying to work on the biting thing. He's
the cutest little guy ever. We're so
happy to have him at our house. Our
Christmas cards are being printed right now, and of course it's a family picture
with Pickles, so we'll make sure to send you one so you can see him.
Thanks again for a wonderful puppy!

Hi Faye,
The
puppies got in without a problem and arrived shortly after 8 PM. They were
snuggled up in the kennel and didn't make a peep. They seemed like experienced
travelers, ha.
They are just as beautiful as
you said Faye, and the coat on both of them is wonderful. I am sure they are
going to be adored around town when we take them out for walks. They did great
overnight, and we were like new parents with them. They are out on our ocean
view deck, sleeping in the sun. When we take them for a walk, they follow close
by (even though I am a worry wart about them), so they seem to have taken to us
without a problem. Very close to our home is a special dog park with lots of
things for them to play with. We are going to take them there. Between our
house, yard, deck and park, they should be happy here, especially with everyone
to love them.
The little girl is so precious,
just like you said. The little boy reminds us of our Samoyed when he was a
little puppy. He is darling, and what a wonderful disposition. The little girl
is a frisky little pup, and I think she is going to be the domineering one. He
doesn't seem to mind though, and is behaving just fine with her nipping at him
and jumping on him all the time. We are very happy with them, and we'll send you
pictures as they grow. Our boys love them and can't wait to bring them to
school, ha!
The dog food made it without a
tear or anything and everything was packed with care, so I am sure that you did
all of that for us, and we thank you.
Thank you for everything, and
especially for the wonderful attention you paid to us in fulfilling our desire
to have such cute puppies. We are another one of your satisfied customers, and
when our friends come looking for one of their own, we'll be sure to send them
on to you.
With appreciation,
Carolyn and John

Hello Faye,
Hope you had a wonderful
Thanksgiving. We all ate too much as usual. Still trying to get through the left
overs. I'm happy to go back to work today so I can get back on a normal food
pattern. Not use to this snacking all day long. It looks like the puppy's name
will be Chip. He just looks like a Chip to us. He has gotton so strong in the
last two weeks, he mastered running up the steps yesterday. He entertained all
of our company this holiday. But he is not obnoxious, when he wears down, he
climbs in his crate, goes way to the back of it and turns his back to all of us.
That is our clue to not bother him until he wants to socialize again. He seems
to be very independent. Chuck is really doing good with his training. He takes
him outside on a regular basis, and Chip continues to do his job out there. Of
course there is still a few accidents in the kitchen. Can't believe how that
little guy can hold it most of the night while he is sleeping in bed with us. He
will wake us up when he needs to go out. Once he has gone, he will settle right
down between us and go back to sleep. It was so hard having to put our precious
little Digger down, but Chip has filled our void very well.
We do give Chip a teaspoon of
cottage cheese once a day and he just loves it.
Have a good week.

Hi Faye!!
Just wanted to give you a brief
update on our puppy. I guess he will be called DITTO, although DIVOT was a
strong option.
He's doing fine. Lots of spunk.
Has really gotten into his Bichon run. We think he is going to be pretty smart.
Understands NO already. He is about 50 50 using the training pads. Plays hard
and Sleeps hard. Will be making a vet appointment next week.
Di and I are wishing you and
yours a HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
Did you get the pictures I
sent?
Will keep in touch
Chuck

Just wanted to let you know
that our baby Gracie has settled in beautifully. Our family and friends just
love her. She is the cutest little thing. She has never had a loose
stool. Lets us know at night
that she has to go potty. Gives a little yip. We put her
out and she goes. When we put
her back to bed she goes to sleep again. I think that's
pretty good. We love her
dearly.
Also we wanted to say what
friendly and gracious people we think you are. The hole experience was
wonderful. Thank you so much. We will keep in touch. If ever you
decide to have a puppy reunion
we would very much enjoy that.

Our
dog has right hip problems and he had problems with his hair coming out
in small patches across his back pelvis and his chest. We switched him
to ProDiet Dog Food and, within a month, we noticed that his limp wasn't
nearly as ba4 as it used to be and his coat became extremely beautiful.
He no longer has areas of no hair or a dull coat.
Max is part Lab and Great Dane. He will be six years old in May,
and wefeed him three cups of Pro Diet a day and he runs two miles a day.
Before we began to feed him ProDiet, we had taken him to three different
vets who suggested we put him to sleep because at times his hip
prevented him from getting up. At this time he was receiving daily
exercise but eating a different dog food."

Thank
you for your advice and assistance during this past racing season. I'm
sure you were a big help in our winning the
Minnesota
3-dog championship as well as finishing near the top of the 5-dog, 7-dog
and weight-pulling competition in
North Dakota
,
Minnesota
and the international rankings.
We were all pleased with ProDiet Dog Food. No dog works as hard as
a sled dog during the racing season. While feeding ProDiet our dogs
maintained their weight and kept in good health. We certainly are
planning to feed ProDiet again this year.

I
just wanted to let you know that I cannot say enough in praise of
ProDiet. After five years ofraising Akitas and making only a little
money above expenses, ProDiet helped me to have a more profitable year.
My dogs used to produce few puppies, and the ones that did usually
lost two or three. Finally you, who had raised dogs for years and knew
what breeding kennels really needed, came along with ProDiet. Now all my
dogs are having puppies and keeping them. Even two females that I had
been breeding unsuccessfully for two years and was going to give up on
are now pregnant.
Also, now that we are feeding ProDiet, my husband is shocked to
find only one wheelbarrow of manure to haul compared to two before.

~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ Dear Faye,
Mystique got here safe and sound. Thank you so very much for all of your efforts
to make this day so special. She is precious and it was instant love with
Michael. We thought you'd enjoy their first photo.
Best regards,

I am convinced that Pro Diet is the best brand of
Dog Food on the market.
I recently had a litter of 12 puppies. I lost six of
them within one week. After the puppies were born, I realized that their mother
did not have enough milk to feed them all. Even after ending up with just the
six puppies, it wasn’t enough.
Before and during the time she was pregnant, we fed
her Tuffy’s, Purina & Diamond Brands of Dog Food.
When the puppies were two weeks old, we switched the
nursing mother to your ProDiet Dog Food. Within two days, she was more
energetic, and producing more milk than the puppies could drink. When the
puppies were first born, she hardly spent any time with them in her Birthing
Box. But since giving her ProDiet, she spends more time in the box nursing her
puppies now than when they were born. Her teets are always full of milk. When
nursing, the puppies have so much milk to drink, it comes out their little
noses.
I know the puppies are healthier and she feels
better about being a good mother.
This whole experience with the health of the Bitch
before, during & after whelping, has been a learning one for me. The Nutritional
value of your ProDiet Dog Food cannot be beat. It is so important when raising
healthy dogs and puppies.
ProDiet is the brand of Choice here at Crooked
Creek Kennels.

Dear Faye,
We had a great ride home. He
slept on my lap the whole way. He would crawl up to my face every once in a
while for a little lick and some comfort. We stopped at WalMart to get him some
things. I carried him around in the pouch of my jacket and he stopped traffic!
He would not go to the bathroom at all. We put him in his crate next to our bed.
He did not cry. Chuck took him out at 5:30 this morning, he did both jobs. He
had not messed in his crate. I took him back to bed with us, but he would not
settle down, he kept whining. I took him back out and he had to go poop again.
But it seems to be firm. We think he will probably be easier than we thought to
train. Right now he is all curled up in the closet amongst some blankets in the
room I'm in. He ate some food this morning and drank water. Life is good again
in our household! Thank you so much for spending the time you did with us. We
know we made the right decision of selecting a pet from you. While we were
standing at the checkout at WalMart, a fellow commented on Ditto, we told him we
had just gotten him and where we had gotten him. Here to find out this man was
from that area and has gotten a couple of dogs from you. He knew right where
your location is. He said they had turned out to be great dogs for him. What a
small world! Thanks again

Hi Faye,
Thought I would update you on Zoey. She is just a little cutie. We love her alot. I think we got the potty training down, she now goes to the door to
let us know. Yesterday she had only one mistake but that was the first in
over a week. Pretty good, huh! She is a little spitfire, she has a lot of
energy and playfulness but she also has a gentle side too. Of course we are
still in the nipping everything but she is starting to nip less. Corey still
just adores her. We will send some pictures up to you sometime soon.
Bye For now

Hi
Faye,
Thanks
for the tip. Zoey is definitely get very spoiled. Especially from Corey. The
other day I was looking for her and found her in our bedroom. She was trying to
get up on the bed, so I thought I would see what she wanted and to see if she
wanted to go to sleep. Sure enough she get up finds my pillow and out she goes.
She already knows where to take a nap. Plus I found out she doesn't like the
piano playing. She crawled under my bed oh well hopefully she will get use to
it.

Hi sorry it took so long to get
those pictures the grooming business is
growing every year and so is my toddler now in her trouble-some two
year old stuff and that keeps me soo bussy!!!!anyway this digital
camera is not that good if your target is moving but you can still see
her some what...I really like the one that your dad picked that my
customers have she is beautiful!!! They keep her coat short if you
repeat that breeding let me know I may want another I about a year.
Merry Christmas Heather (keep in mind this is only a fresh bath not a
fresh groom)
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Faye,
Here's an update:
2nd trip to the groomer and she
had her first hair cut. Groomer says she has a great coat and is very good while
being groomed. Saw the vet and her first rabies shot. She didn't even know she
got stuck. Good heart, lungs, patellas. 8 lbs, she was 4 when I picked her up
from you.
She and Dick have a ball
playing--lots of tug of war, "fetching", hiding under a towel and
saying "Where's Daisy?"etc. Silly games and I don't know whose
entertained the most.
I know I asked you before--how
much do Mom and Dad weigh? When have you found they reach their maximum weight?
Vet thinks she might reach 13-14 pounds.
She's
precious and we love her. She rules the roost you can be sure.
Merry Christmas!
Mary
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Bristol
and Daisy were both tired and dirty from playing hard! Bristol is 50% larger than Daisy--he's 12 pounds and she's 8. They had a ball!
~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~
Attached are photos of our newest baby.....that of baby Zoey! She is a
little stinker and drags our socks, underwear, and other pieces of clothing
all around the house. Yes, we love her. Thank you so much for allowing us
to have such a wonderful "white-fluff ball of overabundant energy".
She
surely is adored by all, including me. Thought you might like to see how
she still has the cute apricot colored ear.
Happy Holidays to you all.
Corey, Ashley, Cheryl, Tyler, and of course ZOEY!

Dear Faye,
Thank you so much for the
Christmas card - it was such a good picture. I hope you and your family are
doing well. I am very sorry that I have not written in a while. I have been
meaning to send pictures of Lilly for a long time. I don't know how to do it so
I need to get my husband to help me! I promise I will send these to you very
soon (hopefully within the week).
I hope you had a great holiday
season. We really enjoyed our Christmas - we hosted this year and loved having
everyone here.
Lilly is so sweet. She has her
hair done every 4-6 weeks and looks so pretty (for about 2 days!). I think she
must weigh about 10 lbs. I don't think she is growing very much anymore. When
are they considered full grown? I really need to work on her obedience, or lack
there of! She is so spoiled and just does what she wants, when she wants! We
need to work on her manners. She loves going for rides in the car, playing with
Cappy (our Golden), and playing with the children. Every night after the kids
have picked up their toys, she starts digging through the toy box to pick out
her toy of choice. Then she plays and chews!
She is very attached to me and
whines when I leave. Sometimes I go to the gym to exercise at 5:30 a.m. and my
husband says she just whines and whines while I'm gone. She waits by the door
until I get home.
Thank you so much for all of
your help,
Jill

Hi Faye and Stan:
Just a letter to say how happy I am with the sample
of the Performance Dog Food that you sent for my dog Shalla. She is a bichon
frise and is from one of your litters. As you know, I purchased her in New York,
where I live, but through her papers was able to locate you.
My bichon girl is 1 1/2 years old and I have already
tried more than 4 different brands of dry dog food for her as well as canned
food. She has turned her nose up at all of them and occasionally would take a
bite of one of them. I was very worried that she was not getting the proper
balance of nutrients in her food, when I thought, "Why don't I ask the breeder
of these bichons what they feed them?" That is when I called you. You were kind
enough to send me a sample of your Performance Brand. To make a long story
short, she immediately started eating it. She really enjoys it. She had been
scratching herself, and I am sure it was due to the wheat and soy products that
were in her previous foods. She is now "itch-free" and is doing very well.
I look forward to feeding her your brand of food
from now. I am sure you have saved me a lot of future veterinary bills.
Thank you again, Faye and Stan. Please send me an
invoice for the amount of the food and I will mail you a check.
